1. IMPROVAGANZA & HOLIDAY DANCE PARTY
Get ready to laugh and start the holiday season with lots of cheer with 3 hours of Improv Fun and Holiday Dance Party! Improv games and exercises will ignite the creative imaginations of all. Start the holiday season with silly shenanigans & belly full of laughs! Class will commence with a fun Holiday Dance Party! Celebrate an amazing year of NYBPT fun!
Improv = unplanned or unscripted: created spontaneously by the performers.
SUNDAY December 8th. 5 - 8 pm. Ages: 13+
SATURDAY December 14th. 1:30 - 4:30 pm. Ages: 7 - 12

2. NYC BROADWAY DANCE INTENSIVE
Be prepared to sweat, work hard and sparkle in this true NYC Theatre dance experience! Technique & style building! Non-stop dance it out December!
Constructive critique and tips will be provided and explored, building confidence & artistry for all your future, dance call auditions and performances.
Taught by Marissa Joy Ganz.

TRIPLE THREAT PROGRAM: Musical Theatre Weekly Classes

These group classes are an ongoing class that focus on learning the basic fundamentals of Musical Theatre. We will explore techniques needed in all 3 major areas of Musical Theatre: Acting, Singing & Dancing. The class emphasis is on building performers who are solid skilled and marketable! Exciting fun Repertoire, Improvisation exercises and activity in each class! Final Presentation on the last class.

ACTING
This class will incorporate various methods and techniques customized to each student to strengthen their audition and performance skills for theatre as well as on-camera acting. Students will work with improvisation exercises, script analysis, and character development through monologues and scene study.

Marissa Joy Ganz - NYC based, trained extensively in Cecchetti, Balanchine, & Vaganova Technique with Nenette Charisse, Robert Tucker, Luba Gulyaeva of the Kirov Ballet/ ABT, David Howard, Finis Jhung, Kenny Larson @ Ballet Arts in NYC, Susan Stowe @ Point Park University and under the guidance of Diane Coupe’ Frankel @ Coupe Theatre Studio. Marissa has been teaching ballet for over 20 years.
